  • Personal Care and Support
  • Specialised Medical Care
  • Dietary and Nutritional needs
  • Companionship and Support

Whether it’s helping with keeping on top of the chores or moving around the house, many of our carers will be your rock, enabling you to live the way they want every day. Our experienced and highly trained caregivers provide the highest quality of care to both clients and their families.

Supported Living

Our supported living services provide innovative and person-centred support enabling people with autism, learning disabilities, mental health illnesses and challenging behaviours to live as independently as possible within their own homes and in the local community.

The support provided is person-centred and specifically tailored to meet every unique need, underpinned by our philosophy that every individual has the right to live the life they choose for themselves.

Our experienced and highly trained caregivers provide the highest quality of care to both patients and their families. Our goal is to help individuals and their loved ones live happy and fulfilling lives.

Physical Disability Support

Arthritis, physical disabilities, and age-related conditions are some of the few circumstances that prevent patients from caring for themselves.

The kind of support we typically provide includes:

  • Assistance with light domestic duties
  • Assistance with washing and dressing
  • Friendship, reassurance and companionship
  • Practical help in managing bills and medicines
  • Assisting to participate in activities that enable social inclusion
  • Assisting with shopping or to meetings with friends
  • Assisting with contributing to, and being part of, the community
  • Assisting with participating in leisure and sports activities

Post-Surgical Assistance

Recovering from home after surgery can limit you with your daily activities. Whether you are recovering from major surgery, childbirth, or plastic surgery, our compassionate caregivers can assist you to a healthy and complete recovery.

Many are discharged from hospital needing someone to provide a wide range of care services until they can recover and support themselves. The main advantage is that we give clients the possibility to return to their home comforts rather than being transferred to a residential home or experience an extended stay in hospital.

Rehabilitation is primarily about restoring an individual to their maximum capability, physically, mentally and socially. If necessary, a whole host of people could be working together with the individual and their family to encourage rehabilitation.

Care for Dementia Patients

If you have been diagnosed with Dementia or Alzheimer’s, it does not mean that you can no longer stay in your own home, that is why we at Encounter Live-In Care Specialists Ltd have designed a person-centred service offering people with Dementia/Alzheimer’s help and support to remain in the familiarity of their own home. Coming to terms with living with Dementia/Alzheimer’s is hard for both those affected by it, and their loved ones.

Calling on support for a loved one is one of the toughest decisions you’ll find yourself faced with in life. Many find the idea of inviting someone new into the home very worrying. That’s why we believe in providing our dementia/Alzheimer’s support services through the entire process. This support and help will be offered by our professionally trained home carers enabling them to retain independence and a better quality of life. Our service will be a one-on-one carefully managed by our management team.

When we provide dementia home care, we see our customers for what they are – people with emotions, feelings, likes and dislikes. Each person is different. And therefore there’s no one way of providing help and support.

Our carers are enthusiastic and committed to caring for someone with Dementia or Alzheimer’s, helping them to live comfortably within the environment they’re most familiar with – their own homes. That’s because we recognise that the homes of our customers aren’t just buildings. They’re treasure troves, hosting decades’ worth of cherished memories. And when caring for someone with dementia, this continuity and consistency is absolutely vital.

Our experienced and highly trained caregivers provide the highest quality of care to both patients and their families.
